Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Hunter Valley Winery Tours ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Tour details such as preferred dates, group size, pickup area and address, and any special requests (including dietary needs you choose to tell us)
  • Booking and payment records. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry, prepare your quote and manage your booking
  • To arrange drivers, pickups and winery bookings for your tour
  • To send emails about your request, quote, payment and tour
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations

We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to deliver your tour and run our business — for example our payment processor (Stripe), email and website hosting providers, our scheduling system, and the wineries or venues on your itinerary. Some providers may store data outside Australia; we choose reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.

Keeping it safe

Your information is stored on secure systems that only authorised staff can access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing bookings@hvwinerytours.com.au or calling 0419 719 994. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
